Hello there! I’m Rebecca Councill, and I’d like to tell you a bit about myself.
I hold a degree in Education and Training, which has fueled my passion for knowledge and personal development.
I’ve been deeply involved in the world of social media management since 2010 and crafting effective strategies since 2015. One of my true joys is assisting nonprofits in establishing their unique brand voices and helping them navigate the digital landscape. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with numerous nonprofits and heart-centered small businesses.
For the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of co-facilitating classes with Rice University’s Glasscock School for Nonprofits and the Business Program. It’s been a rewarding experience sharing knowledge with eager learners. Additionally, I volunteer annually with the Gift of Guidance, an initiative that’s part of the Social Media Breakfast program in Houston.
Outside of my professional life, I have a few nerdy passions. My wife and I enjoy watching true crime shows together, putting our detective skills to the test from the comfort of our living room. I also find solace in the world of Lego, where I build intricate creations. And, of course, I’m an enthusiast of the ancient art of lounging, often in the company of our four cats and our newly adopted dog.
Feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect or learn more about my work. I’m always excited to meet new people and explore new opportunities!
